It prevents distortion, damage, or rupture of filter discs with bi-directional PTFE-coated support screens and a unique, sanitary clamp seal. This maximizes reliability and reproducibility of results in filter validation studies, research and development, and general laboratory filtration applications. The holder's high pressure rating readily handles the highest bubble-point membrane filters. The holder can easily be daisy-chained in series. Non-threaded connections prevent contaminant build-up, and facilitate cleaning. The holder can be autoclaved, in-line steam sterilized, or hot water sanitized with filter in place.
