SKR Sanitary Filter Housing

This sanitary filter housing is used for the clarification, sterilization and high purity filtration of liquids or gases, including fermentor air and tank venting. The housing is designed to accept an SKR-style filter cartridge, which utilizes a unique flange sealing mechanism to prevent fluid by-pass downstream of the filter. This sealing mechanism offers the highest reliability and security for continuous, point-of-use or small batch processing applications.

  • Accepts one 2.5" or 5" SKR filter cartridge or competitive flange-seal filter cartridge
  • 1.5" sanitary flange inlet/outlet; 1/4" hose barb vent/drain valve, standard
  • Flow rates to 8 gpm for liquids, or 80 scfm for gases
  • Quick-release clamp closure allows easy disassembly and fast filter replacement
  • Minimal fluid hold-up volume
