M-Sil™ Braid Reinforced Silicone Tubing
Meissner’s braid reinforced M-Sil™ silicone tubing is an excellent choice for critical biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations where pressure is required for processing, such as PUPSIT (Pre Use Post Sterilization Integrity Testing) requirements. The silicone tubing is manufactured in a Class 7 cleanroom from a platinum-catalyzed biomedical extrusion-grade silicone elastomer. The braid reinforced silicone tubing is certified animal component free (ACF) and has a low extractables profile. M-Sil™ tubing performs well over a temperature range from -70 °C to 180 °C (-94 °F to 356 °F).
M-Sil™ braid reinforced tubing is sterilizable by gamma irradiation and autoclave processes. A wide selection of standard tubing sizes is available from 1/4″ ID (Inner Diameter) to 1″ ID. Custom tubing sizes can be extruded.
