Steridyne^® PVDF Filter Membrane (Hydrophobic)

Steridyne® PVDF Filter Membrane is a hydrophobic, pleated, 0.2 µmºm absolute-rated polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membrane filter designed for air and gas filtration. It removes particles and microorganisms down to 0.01 µmºm, offering virus retention. Manufactured by Meissner, it features thermally bonded polypropylene support components and end caps, providing high mechanical strength, broad chemical compatibility, and minimal extractables. It is sterilizing grade per ASTM F838-05 and certified non-fiber-releasing.

Steridyne® PVDF Filter Membrane is ideal for pharmaceutical gases, sterile tank venting, fermentor inlet and off-gases, compressed air and gas filtration, nitrogen and inert gases, and bioreactor air filtration. It also filters low surface tension chemicals and solvents such as acids, alcohols, antibiotic and solvent mixtures, and weak bases.
